Our Adventure Book
On blank pages, the movie Up, and why we are keeping an adventure book.
Herientta and I recently saw the movie Up, and have loved it ever since. So it only felt right to start here.
The hardest thing in life is marking a brand new book — its pages so beautifully clean, crisp, white, and completely blank. All that excitement about what’s possible, tangled up with the fear of ruining something as quietly beautiful as a blank page.
But starting is what lets you actually have the journey; it’s what creates that spark you need to change and understand the world around you.
We’re calling this site Our Adventure Book. Something we’ll fill in and eventually pass down, because in the end all we really have are our memories even the ones that get a little twisted along the way.
